NHV Remedies Helps Little Maltese with Loose Stools

Posted March 28, 2017

Thank you to Cheryl for sharing Trixie’s success with NHV and for sharing this adorable picture 🙂

This is the only natural remedy that has helped my 5 year old maltese with loose stool. I am reordering 2 more bottles for her. *

Dogs like Trixie can suffer from loose stools for a variety of reasons. Some causes of diarrhea in dogs can be:

  • Change in diet
  • Food intolerance or allergic reaction
  • IBD
  • Internal parasites
  • Stress
  • Infection or underlying disease like kidney, liver, or cancer

NHV Planteris is a vet-formulated herbal remedy that contains a blend of herbs to help relieve diarrhea quickly, while also helping to relieve cramps, and aid in inhibiting bacterial infection.

NHV Plantaeris contains:

Barberry – has traditionally been used to treat diarrhea, relieve stomach upsets and reduce stomach acid.

Mullein – a herb with astringent, antibiotic, antispasmodic, mucilaginous, and antiviral properties. It helps soothe intestinal cramps and is useful against diarrhea.

Bayberry – a herb that contains tannins, resins, and gums that control bacterial infection. Bayberry has traditionally been used to treat diarrhea, dysentery, and colitis.

Myrrh – has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Myrrh strengthens and activates the immune system and helps expel intestine gas and relieve overall digestive discomfort.

Thyme – a popular culinary herb with many medicinal benefits. Thyme helps boost the immune system. It has traditionally been used for IBD and colitis.

Chamomile – has been used for centuries as a digestive tonic.

Chinese Peony –  helps relieve stomach pain.

Ginger – contains enzymes that encourage the production of gastric juices required for digestion. Ginger also helps improve peristalsis and intestinal muscle tone, and also helps reduce nausea.

Oregon Grape – has immunostimulatory actions, and helps relieve indigestion and malabsorption.
