Paw in Hand, These Pets and Their Humans are Making #NHVtransformations

NHV Transformations

You know what they say? When you need a hand, find a paw. We are doing exactly that for all the pet parents who have signed up for our #NHVtransformations challenge.

At the start of 2019, as we struggled with our New Year’s resolutions, we realized our pets help us with so much.

In more ways than one, their lessons in meows and woofs make us better people.

They help us wake up early, get out, and get going. Some of us even try to stay healthy and find good jobs just so we can give them a good life (guilty!)  In more ways than one, their lessons in meows and woofs make us better people.

This got us thinking ..maybe they could help us with our new year goals?

With the plan of transforming together, we have been inviting pet parents to join us for a challenge – the #NHVTransformations Challenge!

At the end of March 2019, one of these pet parents is going to win a hamper of goodies as a reward and of course, everyone is going to be a ‘transformed’ winner! Do you want to sign up too?

Meet some of our participating cat and dog parents

Cat mom Mona wants to get more active

She’s been trying to squeeze in 5-minute yoga sessions every day. She’s gotten the kitties to start eating some real food treats. She’s excited to try some dance lessons on Youtube, and head outdoors every weekend for a walk or a run with her husband. She’s also been making more time to get her adorable fluff-balls Fizz and Blu some exercise.

Cat mom Zafrina wants to eat less carbs to help keep her blood sugar levels healthy.

She’s been holidaying but she is still watching her meals. And to make sure her mama eats healthy, her cat Kitty Mojito has also joined the challenge.

Cat mom Laura has a houseful of furbabies but she’s determined to get more active this year.

With the #NHVTransformations challenge she is taking small, but firm steps to her goal. She enjoys walking so her NHV Pet Expert found her some really nice walking groups in the neighborhood.

Pitbull mom Zuly enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle, but feels there is scope to eat better.

While the two are exploring agility training this year, they are also trying to include healthy foods like smoothies, pumpkin purees, and salads in their diet!

Cat mom Alison has 3 cats but she’s picked her pickiest eater Jonathan as her partner in her #NHVtransformations challenge to eat better.

We’re excited to see how well Jonathan does on it.

Beagle mom Bernadette, like most pet parents, has been putting her pet’s health before hers.

But this year she wants to work on her and little Henry’s health together. With this enthusiasm, we continue working on our goals, together as a pet parent community.

Cat Mom Stacie and her kitty Pheobe are in the #NHVtransformations challenge to get fitter.

They are already making improvements!

Cat Mom Karyna has been struggling to settle down in a new city and needed some help to get more active.

It’s easy to get comfortable indoors when you have such cute kitties for company. But she’s determined to get out there and make new plans!

We are so happy to be a part of these journeys and transformations.

We’ve been checking on all our participants every week. We are working together with them, taking baby steps towards their goals. And we’ve been enjoying every bit of it. From what we hear, the participating pet parents have been enjoying the ride too.

We asked pet parents what goal they needed help within this new year. Surprisingly, many had similar goals. Many wanted to eat better, some wanted to get more active and a lot of pet parents simply wanted to find more ‘me’ time. The team of NHV Pet Experts got working right away!

Each participant of the #NHVtransformations challenge has been assigned a Pet Expert and gets a custom plan of action emailed to them. The expert tries to understand their background, do some research, and fetch helpful local resources. The assigned expert also finds tips to involve their pets and take their help in making it easier for the parents to achieve what they desire.

Do you have a goal that you could use a paw with? Sign up right away. The more people to share happy before-afters with, the merrier.
